She was part of the Covanant but after she realised what cruel and murderous things they did to people with thier magic, she left the Coven, and the witches have held a grudge against her ever since, Gazarius belives that if a witch betrayed the Coven, the other witches would have her killed. Yet Morgana has always managed to escape them.
